Now searching for Families that are within 2 hours of Dandridge, TN. We are needing Guardian Families for 1-2 female puppies!
Sanctuary Farmhouse Doodles only wants the best life for our parent dogs and puppies.
To ensure that every dog is given the attention and care that only a family can offer, we have implemented a Guardian Home Program for families that want to be a part of what we do here at Sanctuary Farmhouse! We are offering a guardian program where qualified families will receive a puppy/dog while we retain the breeding rights. Cost is $500.
Being a Guardian Home is an excellent, low-cost way to have one of our top-quality mini Golden Mountain puppies. All of our parent dogs are raised in loving homes as family pets. As such, we often keep back exceptional puppies from our own program that we think will be great future moms and dads! These special pups are only made available to families in the Guardian Home Program. At Sanctuary Farmhouse Doodles, we refuse to run a kennel, or have them in garages or separate rooms, and instead want to each of our parent dogs to live in a family home where they are adored and live life in the absolute best way.
You must agree to care for your dog throughout their lifetime and make them part of your family. We don't want our dogs to live in a kennel or outside. We want them to be part of your family! We also require you to own a car for transportation.
Qualifications
Guardian families must have:
A fenced yard
Previous experience with owning a dog, or proven extensive knowledge of caring for a dog

Provide a puppy/dog with proper health care, nutrition, and exercise
Properly train and socialize a puppy/dog with appropriate tools and methods

Must be a home owner
Guardian families must live within 2 hours for females and 30 minutes for males from Dandridge, TN.
Owning a female guardian dog
Your dog will stay with me for a few days during the breeding process. Females retire at around the age of 4-6 (typically after having 3-4 litters). Guardian home has the opportunity to whelp and care for the puppies the first 6 weeks of their life and then the breeder will take them the last 2 weeks and prepare for their new home. There will be no expense to you on anything maternity related. The family will be compensated per litter. You will get to grow and learn ESI and ENS with the puppies. After retirement, the female will be spayed and continue to live the remainder of her life with her guardian family.
Owning a male guardian dog
Male dogs will be brought to us as needed during the breeding process. Guardians must be able to keep male dogs away from intact female dogs in heat. Males retire at around the age of 5-7. After retirement, the male will be neutered and continue to live the remainder of his life with his guardian family.
Other Requirements
We ask that you allow us to make arrangements to pick up the puppy/dog throughout various stages in its life to get photos taken to display on our website/social media channels. Additionally:
Guardian dogs are to be kept on a healthy diet at all times, including feeding our chosen food brand.
Guardian families are required to take their puppy/dog to the vet for its annual vaccines and whenever else needed (aside from breeding related visits).
Guardian dogs will keep their given name, although you may have as many nicknames for them as you like.
For Mini Golden Mountain Doodles: We ask that you let the puppy’s coat grow out until around 6-12 months, although hair around the face, on the belly, and under the tail must be kept trimmed. Brushing and bathing should be done regularly.
If you should move or the pennhip does not come back to our high standards the guardian home and SFD will agree on a given amount so the puppy can remain in the guardian home.
